The High Definition - Surround Sound - DSD recording studio in North Texas with the finest pianos, extraordinary equipment, and a passion for music.

Rupert Neve Designs 5088 32*8*2 channel with flying faders.

Fazioli Model F278 Concert Grand with Magnetic Balanced Action (MBA) adjustable action. The brilliant tone of his piano is close to the touch as the action can quickly be adjusted to suit the player's favor. The control over expressive spectrum of the instrument is wide and amazing. With a turn of a key, the keyboard action can be changed in multiple regions over the range of the instrument.

The Bösendorfer 9' 6" Imperial Grand piano at Bolo Digital has the extended keyboard and produces sound an octave lower than a standard piano. The Concert Grand's timbre is rich with the most pure sustain and regal tone. You have to hear this thing! It is out-of-hand!

The Steinway Hamburg 9' Concert Grand has the clearest and most brilliant tone. This piano has the reputation as one of the finest and most expressive instruments ever made. Its timbre is brilliant and even, the inner voices and sonorities are clear, and the expressiveness of the performance is accurate and true.

Bolo Digital's studios offer flexible system configurations and the highest quality analog and digital components are used to capture the expression of great performance.

The 7.1 surround sound studio can be arranged in an all-analog mixing configuration for multitracking and mastering Super Audio Compact Disks (SACD). It can also be configured for an all-digital 96k configuration of multitracking and mastering Blu-ray, DVD or CD Audio.

Bolo's Input and Monitoring systems go far beyond the frequency and dynamic response of the compact disk and DVD Audio. Binaural and surround sound microphones are used to capture and we can hear EVERYTHING in the recording with our critical systems.

Multi-Tracking through mastering in both stereo and surround sound configurations: At Bolo Digital, we use the Sonoma System with EMM Labs (Meitners) converters to author projects in Direct Stream Digital (DSD). If it's a PCM project you have, we record using Radar SNyquest systems that can capture at 192K, 24 bit subsample accurate sessions. We're a small studio with big equipment and a passion for music and high fidelity audio!

We are packed and ready to come to you. On location we bring the the good stuff. Mixing and monitoring are handled by rock solid analog and/or digital components.

Bolo Digital has two digital capture systems ready to go.

The 24 track Sonoma system captures Direct Stream Digital (DSD) format. This system has a wide dynamic range (s/n), and with emm labs Meitner converters has extremely low self noise.

The 24 track Radar S-Nyquest which can capture 24 tracks at a 24 bit, 192k sample rate. the S-Nyquest converters provide sub sample accuracy. We can use this system with our digital and analog interfaces
